Project Summary
PlusCredit is a Canadian fintech that helps people build credit with a prepaid card. Customers sign up in the app, verify their identity, get a card, load money and spend, and the product tracks their credit health and rewards along the way.
I took it from a stack of requirement documents to a real, working product. That meant five pieces that all had to agree with each other: the iOS app, the Android app, the backend API, a customer web portal, and an admin panel with CRM tools the operations team uses every day.
What I did
I led the build and the team behind it. I set the architecture, split the work across developers, reviewed the code and ran releases. Security was mine end to end: verified onboarding, token-based sessions, role and permission checks on every staff action, and an audit trail of who changed what. In fintech, a bug in money handling is not a cosmetic issue, so every flow that touches a balance went through tests and a second review before it shipped.
